In this quarantine days, I thought to share the simplest recipe where you can make this in just 3 mins.
.
Yes…You read it right in just 3 mins.
.
Below given is the recipe for ⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬ ‘Fried rice’

‘Left-over rice’

Ingredients

Leftover cooked rice (100gm)
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp masala
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

Method to prepare

1. Heat the kadhai and pour the oil.

2. Add Cumin seeds and add onion when cumin seeds start to crackle.

3. Saute the onion until golden brown in colour then add the tomato.

4. Add salt, masala and saute it for 1 min in medium flame.

5. Following add the rice and mix it well.

6. Now your homemade fried rice is ready in just 3 mins.

This a simple recipe which you can easily prepare it and eat in this difficult situation or even donate to someone in need if you are willing to.

Recipe for ‘Kheer’

‘Kheer’

Yes .. It is ‘KHEER’

And as we know we people of India are very much connected with our food and culture.


Below is the recipe for homemade Kheer ⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬ Ingredients
50gm rice
150-200 ml milk
8-9 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp milkmaid
4-5 pcs almonds (crushed)
4-5 pcs raisins
4-5 pcs cashew nuts
1 cardamom
1 tez patta
3 cups water

‘Dry fruits and Tez patta’

Method to prepare


1. First in a medium size bowl, add 3 cups of water and boil for 4-5 mins.
2. Then wash the rice and add in the bowl.
3. Let it cook for 5-6 min at medium flame.
4. Check the softness of rice and simultaneously add milk to it.
5. After 1-2 min add the sugar, milkmaid, cardamom and tez patta.
7. Mix it continuously for 1-2 min and then add the dry fruits.
8. Now after 1-2 min turn off the flame and let it cool for 4-5 min.
9. Here, the homemade Kheer is ready and can be served.

Recipe for ‘Bahala Saag’ a traditional Odia dish

‘Bahala Saag’

In Frame – ‘Bahala Saag
This dish is a traditional Odia dish, widely famous in the western part of Odisha.
.
Bahala is a flower which is cooked as a saag.
.
It is really healthy as it is cooked with no spices.
.
So below is the recipe given for ⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬⏬

‘Bahala Saag’

Ingredients
100 gm Bahala saag
2 tbsp refined oil
6-7 Urad Badi
1 tomato
1 chopped onion
1 red chilli
1 cup milk(kheer)
1/2 cup water
Salt to taste

Bahala

Method of preparation

1. First, heat the Kadai and pour the oil.
2. Now add the chopped onion and fry until it’s golden brown in colour simultaneously add red chilli to it.
3. Urad Badi to be crushed into small pieces then add to the Kadai.
4. Mix it properly and let the badi also get fried for 1-2 min.
5. Add the Bahala saag, add tomato (chopped or mashed) then add salt as per taste.
6. Mix it well for 5-10 seconds and then add water to it.
7. Now cover the Kadai with a lit and let it cook for about 2-3 mins at a medium flame.
8. Add the milk(kheer) to it and mix it simultaneously.
9. Lastly, stir it continuously for 10-20 seconds.
10. Now your homemade ‘Bahala Saag’ is ready and can be served.
